The perfect 'signature' rig for your business: surf shop, brewery or beverage business. Divco was designed as a work truck, its been a working truck (milk delivery) and its now ready to work for you and your business.
DIVCO-- the Detroit Industrial Vehicle Company-- built these trucks from 1938 to 1985 with only minor changes in grille and lighting. This truck is a 1975 Series 206-- dually. Engine is a modern Ford 300 ci six w/ manual transmission. Propane fueled, too. Also has the rare stand-up driving equipment (needs adjustment). Since it was retired in 2000, lots of work done: brakes, suspension, new radiator, new front tires. Old Red paint has thin spots-- takes an excellent shine and looks great!
Hundreds of hours spent creating a genuine woody inside and out w/ authentic materials: birch plywood and old growth hemlock. Wood finished w/ almost two gallons of polyurethane. Aluminum diamond plate added below wood done for visual effect and durability. Roof top sealed w/ matching color sealant. This woodie has the real WOW factor-- runs as good as it looks and gets lots of attention!
