This truck has been with me since 1995 and I have not acquired the money or facility to do what it deserves to have done to it. I absolutely love this truck. It is important to me that it goes to someone who will finish it and properly do so. I am the third owner and I bought it with 167k miles on it. The title is marked box B which means it has passed over 100k. Box C represents a vehicle that has passed over 200k mile mark in accordance with the DMV. The odometer currently reads 12534 but, the speedometer cable broke around 2-2500k miles ago. The truck is rarely driven, so I estimate the total millage at 214k, with approximately 65-67k total on the Goodwrench crate motor. This truck was completely stock when I bought it, and I have pictures to show my slow progression over the years of the things I have done to improve it. It is still mostly stock with the exception of some edelbrock engine upgrades and spring re-arching, as opposed to a lift kit. Lift kits only went back to 1969 then, so I choose a 4" re-arch back then. In addition, I do not drill holes in vehicles unless absolutely necessary, so any aftermarket accessory added has been located in existing factory holes- alarm siren, switches, etc. I have tried to keep the truck as stock as possible since I have owned it. The truck came stock with the 327 motor but now has a 350 Goodwrench crate motor, 4 speed manual transmission, rockwell transfer case, and I believe, a 4.57 gear ratio. It has all its factory metal panels, paint, and it has never been in an accident or abused in anyway. The primer spots are from some amateur minor dent repairs and side view mirror hole filling. This truck was purchased new in Tucson, AZ. (see dealership badge on tailgate) and has spent its life in Tucson. The 4 wheel drive does work perfectly, but the front driveline needs a repair or u-joints, as it has a slight wobble in steering the wheel when engaged in 4wd, while making a turn. I have the missing trim piece on the right side cab and taillight pieces, as well as many other parts I've acquired over the years such as, books, shop manuals, and all the receipts for items purchased. This is an extremely special, rare, and reliable pickup truck that was equipped stock with the 327 engine, Factory air conditioning, the CST package, Buddy bucket seats, 3/4 ton, and 4 wheel drive. It has been a true family member and a pleasure to own and drive throughout all these years. It will definitely give someone pride of ownership to own and drive, as it has done for me. All this truck needs is some minor attention to details, a good paint job, and someone who appreciates a highly collectable, unique, first year, second generation, Fully loaded, Chevrolet Truck! I am able to answer any questions you may have about the truck, and I am open to offers $16k and up. Thank you for looking!
