I have a 1979 Chevy C-10 stepside project truck ready for some minor body work and interior aesthetic work. It was to be a restoration project for my daughter and I, but since then she has found another one that she likes better. The truck has a recently rebuilt 350 with Holley 4 barrel that was also rebuilt and Comp cam. The rear end is a 400 turbo 3 speed automatic on the column that was also recently rebuilt. . This was all checked out and/or performed by a local mechanic with a shop here in Florence. It has a set of rims that came on it to us with 4 different size tires that could be included in lieu of what is on it currently if pricing negotiations are needed. The current tires are Kelleys that have less than 20 miles on them and a set of polished aluminum American Racing rims with wheel adapters. I put new rims on it to allow for narrower tires and to save the cost of refinishing the ones that came on the truck. I can provide pics if needed or meet you to show you the truck. All parts needed to finish it are readily available in the Jackson area and I have figured somewhere less than $1000.00 will have it ready for painting. Currently it is in a flat black primer. It has dual tanks, and best I could tell, from when we drove it home from where we purchased it, the truck will get in the mid to high teens as far as MPG.
