This very rare cabriolet, with 89,500 miles, has an automatic transmission, removable top, leather seats, a Sony 10 CD changer, new tires, and many other options.
History of last few years:
This classic British car has been mostly idle this past summer but has been driven daily, then driven weekends, then monthly during the past summer.
+'s: It has a hidden Sony10 CD changer, Polk speakers, new tires, and many other options, beautiful champagne body color with removable dark brown roof sections, owner's manual, a good spare and tools. It may be a collectable at some time and was serviced by Northwest Investment Cars Portland.
-'s: The transmission slips a little, when 1st driven, after being idle in storage for a time. It is a common trait with auto transmissions, as the fluid drains out if the torque converter over time and goes into the transmission.
It slips a lot less after being driven a few miles to where it is quite a bit better. Unfortunately, the speedometer and oil pressure gauge just quit working the last time out [oil pressure 'idiot light' goes out and oil level is ok].
The battery's weak for being idle in storage for a time but holds a charge after being driven.
The interior's in a little worse shape than the exterior [fair vs good].
I may take the best offer, as I'd like to sell it this fall. I just lowered the price by $1000!
