1984 GMC C-70 Fire Truck 4X4

This 1984 GMC Sierra/Vanpelt 4x4 Fire Engine is in great condition. The Fire Engine is fully operational, it runs and drives great. It was recently removed from service by a Washington State Municipality.
427ci gasoline engine, governed at 300 RPM, 5 speed manual transmission, "off-road gearing", transfer case with high/low range lever, front axle engine lever.
Power Steering, Air brakes, two 35 gallon saddle fuel tanks (left and right, selectable), locking front hubs, behind the bumper mounted electric winch and snatch block (10,000 lbs.) with a plug-in hand held remote.
8550 actual miles as of 821-2013 documented by Yakima County, Washington.
Chrome yellow paint with zero body corrosion/rust, all of the glass is perfect, the interior is also in excellent condition.
VHF, UHF or 800MHz radio (12V power and prewired antenna are present), it has a Federal electronic siren, and dual roof mounted air horn.
1000 GPM Hale centrifugal fire pump, last pump test passed was on 11-12-2008
750 gallon water tank, right side compartment mounted 2200 watt Honda generator on a pull out tray, two telescoping 110V wired quartz extenda-lites for night op's, GVW 30,200 lbs., actual weight full 26,500 lbs. Vehicles overall height is 8' 10", width 8' 2", length 23" 10". Ground ladders include a 24" two fly extension, 14' roof, 10' attic, all tested in 2009.
Rear compartment mounted 132 rmp high pressure Honda 5 HP WH20X gasoline fire pump (provides pump and roll capability) with 7' 1" redline are pre-plumed for rear tailboard operations, the unit is also set up with two front mounted ground sweep nozzles that are "in-cab" controlled, there is also a 1" front bumper discharge port to attach another line to, the front bumper is also set up to receive a drop-in brush firefighting personnel basket/cage.
Two top mounted electric hose reels with 200' of redline (100' each) with nozzles, 6 airpack brackets to receive airpacks or spare bottles. Also included are one set of bunker gear, two adjustable fire helmets, assorted hose fittings, hydrant wrench, 10' fiberglass pike pole, one small halon and one small dry chemical extinguisher, two aluminum wheel chocks and an old fire axe. All emergency lighting and warning equipment is fully operational, it is also equipped with a kusmal air and electric shore power ejector. The unit also has a 110V shore power 12V trickle charger for dual onboard 12V batteries. Aluminum diamond plate bi-fold hose bed covers with weighted dust flaps. 500' of 2 1/2" supply hose, 600' of 1 1/2" hose, three 1 1/2" handline nozzles are included, and two redline nozzles. Two 10' hard suction hoses with a floating strainer, 200' of 1" forestry line is also included.
Meticulously owned and maintained by a small fire district, stored in a heated forestation all of its life.
This unit would make a nice Type 1 or 2 structural engine, Type 3, 4 ore 5 Wildland 4x4 engine or Type 2 4x4 Tactical water render if the tank size was increased by 250 gallons to 1000. Nice 20" tires, all are 75% treated, it comes with a spare 20" wheel and tire.
