My Dad’s 1941 Series 62 Caddy (4/dr Sedan) needs to see the light! This handsome desirable pre-war Caddy has been in my dad’s garage for the past 40 years and presents well. The caramelized obsidian bronze paint is very attractive and maintains a subtle, yet classy appeal.
This Caddy has super clean lines with plenty of original chrome décor to catch the eye -- particularly on the ornate egg-crate grille. The bumpers and other trim are straight, tidy and free of major pitting or blemishes. Of course the “Goddess” is regal on the hood ornament balanced by new premium whitewalls.
The interior is warm, clean and recently reupholstered with oyster-toned seating and doors. All switchgear functions well. A center gauge and radio panel with appointed original finish dominates the dash.
Mechanically, this Cadillac has a robust, but smooth sound. The 346 cubic inch flathead V8 runs strong and smooth, powering easy shifting of the synchronized 3-speed manual gearbox. A thorough inspection from our world-class restoration facility has found it to perform well and street-ready.
