Well-loved Impala Convertible. White top (second top, not the greatest job but the PO did that)... It has everything which came on the car except shocks and tires, and I think some idiot replaced the carb with a newer one. The car has in- dash factory AC that still has R-12 and tries to blow cold... it has Antique plates, always has (I've had it since around 1986)... I drive it rarely but try to keep the AC seals "moist". It has always been garaged except while the PO drove it to Cali to do her residency. She cried when I bought it, BTW... I told her she could borrow it any time but she never took me up on it.
Delivered with a 3-speed TH350 transmission.
The car has its original 327/275HP with camel-hump heads covered with lots of authentic "patina" (greasy dirt), lol. Has original top boot and wheel covers. This car has a great, happy history and I am almost crying as I write this because I do NOT want to ever sell this part of my family, but The "woman" I married is divorcing me and ... well, I don't want to inject any bad "carma" (heehee) so ... yeah (one word, fellers: PRENUP!)
Oh, I bought a new top pump, put it on, and flushed / filled (with the wrong) fluid... It's pretty easy to replace the cylinders and I plan to do it, or we can knock five dollars off the price (did I mention I don't want to sell this car???) It also as enough booboos on each fender that it needs a bit of body work, nothing deep, (scraped garage door threshold trying to park it as far over as possible - to keep it from getting any door dings. Oh, the irony.
Price is firm. I might be crazy, and if you think that's the case, you know what you can do with your opinion (i.e., keep it to your damn self). Do not waste my time or yours hoping to profit off my misery. That's just rude. ;^p
So if I haven't totally scared you off, I'd be glad to finish the job on the phone or by Email. I will try to post current pictures soon, sorry about that...
