Unlike most boys growing up, I was never interested in cars. I was into airplanes and military weaponry. As I became driving age though, it all started to change. I started noticing cars, and my favorites seemed to be the big chromed out cars from around the age I was born, in the 1970's. After doing some research, I found that these were mostly considered muscle cars, and my interest peaked.
I started dreaming of what muscle car I would want to own in the future, and what one model it would be if I could only choose one. Convincing my wife into letting me buy a classic car would be tough, so I figured if it happens, I will only get one chance to pick the perfect dream car. I started doing research, but not all the data I was looking for was found in one area. I was looking in multiple books, websites, and magazines for bits and pieces of information. My requirements for the perfect car were for it to need a lot of work to rebuild to it’s new glory, but for everything to be original (correct color, trim, engine, etc. as the VIN and body codes dictate). I like original models, because it's lie a piece of history to me. It was easy enough to find most of this information on the more popular cars like Mustangs and Camaro’s, but not as easy on less popular vehicles such as AMC models or Buick Wildcats.
Website design has always been a hobby of mine, and after spending countless hours of researching online, and going to my local libraries, book stores, and auto shows, I decided to try to create a website to document all the details of classic cars and muscle cars of the past in one complete site. My goal is for every visitor to be able to find the information they need to restore that classic car, and be able to share any information they have with the rest of this community.

I'm calling this the "Timeless Rides Project", and I will go through one model at a time and document it year by year. I'm going to start out with my favorite models, so that means mostly muscle cars and pony cars . Others include the Regal, sports cars like the corvette, etc.
From the newbie to the novice, this site is designed for every classic car fan. Hopefully people will find this a valuable online resource, and participate in the forums and help everyone out.
