The production run from 1960 to 1970 was average. but declining sales during the muscle car years, and the upcoming safety regulations after 1970 caused it's demise.

Competing against the Chevrolet Impala, the Galaxie was Ford's flagship full size model.

Not much of an introduction is needed here. The Mustang was released in 1964 and became one of the fastest selling models ever, hitting 1 million models sold within it's first 1.5 years in production, and is still selling strong today.

The Thunderbird started out as a 2 seater in 1955, similar to the Corvette, but it was not "marketed" as a sports car, but a luxury car. A second row of seats were added in 1958, and the model started to grow larger and larger throughout it's life.

The Torino started out as a trim package on the Fairlane, before it became it's own model in 1970.
