Technically the first "pony car" (it was released a few weeks before the Ford Mustang in 1966), the Barracuda was a very popular muscle car during the muscle car era.

Produced from 1951 through 1970, the Belvedere went through many changes. The 1964 model was the first car to sport the new 426 Hemi engine.

Designed to compete with the Ford Maverick in 1970, the Duster had many levels, from an entry level to a muscle car.

Also named the Belvedere GTX, this model was marketed as the "gentleman's muscle car".

Released in 1968, the Road Runner was a back to basics muscle car. The idea was to produce a cheap, no frills car that was fast.
