We have a rare 1975 Chevrolet Corvette For Sale here in Winnsboro, SC 29180 that came with the L82 engine option (Vin Code 1Z37T58429046, T for L82) with a 4-speed transmission and in the color options of silver with an Oxblood interior. It now has a replacement Chevrolet ZZ4 350 cubic inch engine in it.
Chevrolet built 38,465 Corvettes with only about 2,372 L82 Corvettes being built for 1975, add into it the option codes of this 1975, such as the M21 close-ratio Muncie four-speed manual or the Oxblood interior, it becomes even more rare.
But power and production numbers are not what make this ’75 worth a second look. This Corvette is truly a survivor example that has had a fender-bender, with damage shown in the pictures, but is all there and can be restored to its former glory by the next owner.

The genuine GM Performance ZZ4 350 Turn-Key crate engine has been one of the most popular high performance crate engines since GM Performance Parts was started. Its legendary status is based on an incredible performance level that is stone cold reliable. The ZZ4 350 crate engine is packed with a forged steel crankshaft, hypereutectic pistons, hydraulic roller camshaft and lifters, and aluminum cylinder heads. The ZZ4's Corvette-derived high-performance heads feature high velocity intake runners and D-shaped exhaust ports to promote efficient and unobstructed flow through the engine – providing strong power and torque at all RPM levels. The ZZ4 350 is delivered with an aluminum dual-plane intake manifold, HEI distributor, cast iron water pump, damper, and flexplate. The Turn-Key ZZ4 350 crate engine also ships with all the parts you need to get it running. That includes an accessory drive package, fuel pump, chrome air cleaner kit, Holley 750-cfm carburetor, starter, and spark plug wires. The ZZ4 comes to you with a full 355 horsepower and 405 lb.-ft. of torque. It has a great throttle response and low-end torque with the throaty exhaust note routed through the dual pipes and backed by the standard Wide-Ratio 4-Speed Manual Transmission.
This wide-ratio 4-Speed is a good choice for normal driving, which includes a lot of stop-and-go. The high first-gear ratio (2.64 to one) gets you off the mark smartly, and wide intermediate ratios provide good torque-matching at low and intermediate speeds. Moreover, there is a nice, crisp shift action with all gears fully synchronized.
The Corvette's fully independent sports suspension made it one of the best handling American cars of the '70s as it rides on the chrome factory slotted Corvette mag wheels and fitted at all four corners with black wall tires.

The instruments and controls include a hand brake, lighter and ashtray, a no nonsense speedometer, trip odometer and matching tach, auxiliary instruments are on a separate panel over the console- fuel, clock with sweep-second hand, oil pressure and amps, plus reminder lights for seat belts, door ajar and headlight doors.
The exterior looks like it has the original Silver paint over the body which this 1975 had the one-piece, body-color urethane front and rear bumper covers, raised cowl-induction hood with the L82 factory emblems, side scoops, factory flared fender wells, and coupe body.
