1974 MGB Roadster
For sale is a beautiful antique 1974 MGB Roadster, 2 door convertible English sports car. It is a 100% complete turn-key with its clear title in-hand, registered, recently serviced, inspection exempt and ready to go.
I am the second owner of this car and it has been my project rebuild for two years. It has been stripped down to the frame and rebuilt to the classic you see today. The original frame, chassis and wheel wells have been cleaned and painted, new metal floor boards and rockers, Rosati red paint job (new), original 1.8L 4cyl engine has been completely rebuilt from bottom up along with the carbs and brake system. New clutch, wiring harnesses, 12gal gas tank, carpeting, seats, shifter knob, chrome bumpers, luggage rack, gas cap, front grille, Moss MG replacement top, mud flaps, interior door panels, all seals, door sill plates, new exhaust system with chrome tip, starter, radiator, hoses, battery, electronic ignition, distributor, spark plugs, ignition coil and wires, original valve cover, air filter housings alternator, headlights, fog lights, brake pads and rotors, powder coated Rostyle rims and Grand Prix Tour RS 175/70/R14 tires. I've installed custom billet headlight eyebrows and authentic MG decals. Most MG parts were purchased from Moss Motors.
The car is garage kept/covered, has never seen rain or snow, no rust/rot, babied when driven and a non-smoking vehicle. It has only 300 total miles on the rebuild. The original 4spd transmission was pulled and inspected, no issues and shifts flawlessly. The car has no mechanical or electrical issues, runs cool and idles flawlessly. Everything works perfectly except for the original radio which isn't hooked up and the windshield washer pump which stopped working recently. I will be including the full size wire spoke rim/spare tire and original MG jack. This car must be seen in person and driven to truly appreciate. Selling only because I have multiple MG projects and need room in my garage for the next build. This is a classic weekend cruiser or an easy icon at any car show!
